On Thursday, July 27, 2017, Jerry was invited to share “his story” at Unique Pathways held at the Hawley Public Library.  His story was about how The Art Factory of White Mills came to be!  His story began with his start in the field of electronics and then a surprising change of passion; creating stained glass!  A special thank you to the library for inviting Jerry!  As a newcomer to the area, it was a wonderful home-town welcome!

Have you stopped in for our monthly “meet & greets”?  It’s a chance to meet our “featured artists”; listen to the stories of how they came to create their amazing art and view their work from a totally different perspective!

The Art Factory of White Mills proudly hosted it’s “Spring High School Emerging Artists Showcase” on May 20, 2017, from 12:00-3:00. The local high school students’ talent is UNBELIEVABLE! While each participant (~20 total) were winners, we awarded prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, along with gifts for all the students that participated. The success was very well received!

On May 08, 2017, The Art Factory held a free puppet show featuring local children’s book author, Michelle Oram.  The show was called “Songs of the Woods”, based on the book of the same name.

On Thursday, March 23, 2017, The Art Factory of White Mills proudly hosted a “new business owners, Meet & Greet”for the Northern Poconos Chamber of Commerce.  The event welcomed ~20 businesses to the gallery. Business cards were exchanged, ideas shared, prizes awarded, dinner was enjoyed and new friendships forged. It was a win-win for all that attended!
