Procedure for “Working with advertising Ads”

All Pictures should be uploaded to our WP website Media Files.  ( Pictures used to show Class Samples, Advertising, etc.)

Program We use Pixamatic to make the Ad image

  1. Open Pixamatic.
  2. Go to GET.
  3. Select a previous Ad image (to use a mask).
  4. Click on the Picture.
  5. Click on the RED garbage can to delete the Picture.
  6. Click on the UPLOAD button.
  7. On the Select type, set to Photos.
  8. Go to our Media Files and select the Picture you need (Photo only).

(I save a copy on my desktop).

  1. Drag and Drop your Picture to the Drag & Drop image here box.
  2. Resize the Picture so the Green boxes are spacers between the Picture and the frame.
  3. Now the Text, Click on the upper Text.
  4. Replace the Text with the new Text.
  5. Click on the Lower Text and replace it.
  6. Click “Save” to save your work.
  7. Export the Ad (usually goes to Downloads).
  8. Upload to WP Media Files.

Using WP and Advanced Ads (WP) to make the AD

  1. Open WP and go to the Dashboard.
  2. Go to Advanced Ads.
  3. Click on Ads.
  4. Click on New Ad.
  5. Click on Image Ad.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Enter the Class Page URL into the box.
  8. Set the size to W500, H400
  9. Press Next.
  10. Press Save.
  11. Copy the Ad Shortcode. *Sample [the_ad id=”7177”]
  12. Set the Expiry date.

Insert CODE and Test

  1. Open our Home Page to edit it.
  2. Locate, or make a new CODE Module.
  3. Paste the Ad Shortcode into the CODE Module.
  4. Save
  5. Test to check operation and correct page landing.
