Do You Know… …John Capanna?
John Capanna is an artisan living in the Poconos. John was a woodworker who set out to learn, observe, and work with master carvers and furniture makers. John grew from the experiences and found his own “sweet spot” with wood. He tries to keep his work as organic as possible, resulting in a very intimate and personal collaboration between the artist and nature. John credits his passion for working with wood for saving his life. Burned over 90% of his body in an industrial accident, John used his art as a way of healing and an outlet for helping others. The Art Factory of White Mills is proud to exhibit John’s incredible craftsmanship. Come see for yourself!
